BETH MICAL

Beth Mical is the incoming Vice President for Define American’s 2019-2020 school year. She is studying civil engineer with a specialty in transportation. Her previous position as outreach coordinator has allowed her to learn and participate in some of the greater events that Define American has held at MSOE. She is excited to start her new leadership role where she can become more hands on with the upcoming events. She hopes that this organization will challenge her to improve on organizational skills, leadership skills, and overall communication skills.

“Being in Define American has really taught me about the power of stories. There is no right or wrong story, just different sides of a story. And I really hope that Define American can shed some light on the Americans who may not be here legally. Most of them aren’t bad and just hope for a better future. I am so excited for the future events that we are planning for the next year to educate their side of the story. I believe Define American offers greater opportunities for everyone and I’m so glad to be a part of this.”
